Heldo Gomez, M.D. is a Fellowship trained Board Certified Neurosurgeon who has been serving the community since 1991. As an adult and pediatric neurosurgeon for twelve years, he has performed some of the most complex surgeries in the field and is the doctor of choice for family doctors in the area.

Dr. Gomez received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 and finished his Doctor of Medicine in 1985, both at the University of Miami. He was a Neurosurgery resident with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for seven years before moving on to his Neurotrauma fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1989.

Dr. Gomez has been listed in the “Best Physicians in the U.S.” by his peers when asked to whom they would refer a family member. He is also the author of many published articles on neurosurgery and is an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and other professional societies in the field.
